My interest in the Pekingese breed came early on ~ I was around 10 years old when I first saw a peke in the flesh. I was captivated by the breed and from that time on, I knew someday I had to have one. The first to come along was a pet, who taught me what the peke breed was all about. Very bold, self assured and stubborn. I started showing Pekingese in 1989 and won the group, and best puppy in match at my first fun match ever. I had never been in a show ring before that time. I did not start breeding until 1992, after I had learned about showing, grooming and the conformation of the Pekingese. I was very proud to have been awarded Top Pekingese Breeder in Canada only four years after I had started breeding. Breeding the best that I can, has always been my goal!
